Brand new genuine Dia-Compe Tech 77 Locking Brake Levers
COLOR: BLUE (these are blue candy coat, which looks like anodizing but is more like a laquer finish - not to get into too much detail, but since the body can't be anodized (because it is not forged), only the actual lever can (because it is forged), and it's too difficult to match anodizing color to paint color, Dia-Compe chose to fully "candy coat" these. This does mean these are a little darker than anodized blue and will not be an exact match to the blue 883 calipers, but many have put them on the same bike and they look awesome regardless. Also, because this is a painted finish, there may be tiny nicks in the finish even though they are brand new and sealed in the package - this happened during manufacturing).
This is the now famous lever that replaced the Tech 7's from back in the day.
Since these are made from the original tooling and I'm not aware of any difference from the original levers.
These are hard to find NOS - now you can buy a new set for less than 1/2 what a NOS pair will run you. These are not counterfeits - I ordered these direct from Dia-Compe and they're made from the original tooling.
Fits standard 7/8" (22.2mm) handlebars - has the very cool hinged mounts (so you don't have to remove your grips to install).
Sold in PAIRS ONLY - LH and RH levers included. These come packaged in the newer style retail packaging.
