The 2023 Porkchop BMX HAM JAM!
08-10-23: UPDATES WILL BE MADE TO THIS PAGE AS WE RECEIVE QUESTIONS AND VENDORS ARE ADDED. WE ARE ALSO WORKING ON A GUIDE FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO STAY A FEW DAYS AND CHECK OUT ALL THE COOL STUFF CARTERSVILLE HAS TO OFFER.
WHEN: October 15th, 2023, 11AM-5PM (this is a RAIN OR SHINE event - but if rain is forecast BRING TENTS)
WHERE: 1 Friendship Plaza, Cartersville, Georgia 30120
Cartersville has a lot going on and many great places to visit. Please consider coming for a few days and seeing what it has to offer. A good place to start planning your trip is this website: https://visitcartersvillega.org/
COST: Admission is FREE! $5 per bike displayed, $20 per 10x10 swap meet spot (paid in person, cash, the day of the show). Please note tents/popups are only allowed by those who have paid to display bikes or for a swap spot and all 4 corners must each be held down with a 40 lb weight (that's a total of 160lbs of ballast holding the tent down - no stakes are allowed). This is a city safety requirement.
Please note: All bikes displayed will be part of the judging. Each bike owner will choose the category they want their bike(s) classed as. It's all for fun. Smile. Laugh. Enjoy.

SPECIAL GUEST: EDDIE FIOLA! (no kidding)
LIVE MUSIC: Supermodel Machinegun (local Cartersville band.. like very local, they live just a few blocks from the show)
FOOD: Campechanos food truck and the Sloppy Skillet food truck will be there Local Drowned Valley beer for sale onsite!
OTHER COOL STUFF: We'll have local vendors selling cool stuff (TBA)
RAFFLE: Raffle tickets will be sold throughout the day at the show. $2 gets you a ticket for an assortment of swag/parts and $5 gets you a ticket for a special big prizes (example: a set of the new Motomag wheels). Prize winners will be announced every 30 minutes all day long!
RIDE OUT: There will be a casual ride out on Saturday, October 14th. Start/end will be a Drowned Valley Brewing which is just a couple blocks from the show location (4 S Tennessee St, Cartersville, GA 30120). You can see more about them here: https://www.drownedvalleybrewing.beer/ We will head out from the brewery at 3PM. It will be a lot of neighborhood sidewalk sort of riding - nothing too strenuous. Length of the ride will probably be around an hour. We'll enjoy beers and whichever food truck is on hand at Drowned Valley when we return. If you just want to hang out and not ride, come around 5PM.
