Application: Typically you'd use these on an outboard euro/BSA English threads bottom bracket to change the shell width from 68mm to 73mm. But, since they're 1.37", the same size as 16T and larger freewheel threads, you could use one as a freewheel spacer (but not 2... b/c then you'd not have enough threads to safely hold your freewheel on).
